As part of a Feast Film Nights screening of the incredible and inspiring documentary Jodorowsky’s Dune, DJ Food (Ninja Tune records) weaved together an hour long set of music and samples connected with Frank Herbert’s most famous novel, Dune, accompanied by my cosmic geometric animations.

As I am about to go on a trip to the Lake District and I’ve been meaning to write a post about the elemental work of Richard Skelton, who has produced music and texts inspired by the landscape and dialect of Cumbria, it seemed like an appropriate time to post this.
We finally got sent our copy of the JK Flesh limited edition LP, screen-printed on to reversed grey board for that crusty feel.

Versions Grain, a CD of remixes from Versus Grain by Cloaks has been released on 3by3 Records – photography and design by Ambigraph, revising the original artwork. We created a restrained design to allow space to focus on the density of the music.
