I also love how he spoke so deeply to do many people while never compromising his sometimes overwhelming obtuseness. Forever grateful for his works and words. Two ways of dealing with the necessary compromise Two ways of dealing with the necessary compromise in this configuration from @kamikyodai .. the yellow shapes are slightly distorted from their ideal forms. Interestingly the rectangle repeat has the same proportion in both cases. In this case, the compromised octagon is the preferable solution to me. #pattern #drawing #geometric #islamicgeometry #design
